i take venlafaxine for 2 days... instead to feel normal i suffer dizzness blur vision thats add anxiety to me... i stop taking the med for 2 days now... until now i feel dizzy... my mind telling i have serious problem becuase of this dizzness... how long it will last the effect of the med... im so scared of this dizzness... plz help...
It's all right, Ryan. This is a well-known side-effect of venlafaxine. It will go away and it isn't serious. If you're worried go and see your doctor on Monday.
Hi Ryan, Im back on venlafaxine after a 3 year break and I get the dizzyness at the moment,it's temporary and soon goes, don't worry or be scared of it, if you get dizzy just remind yourself that it's the Venlafaxine working out what it's supposed to do and a normal part of it settling into your system and nothing else.
Venlafaxine is a really good anti depressant and very potent with anxiety so your on a good medication in my experience. My dose is 150mg extended release per day.
If your concerned give your GP a ring for reassurance.
