dizzy wizzy

A really bizarre symptom i get is parallel lines make me dizzy and fall over. Does anyone else experience this ? I can't go out onto my decking and the carpet in my doctors surgery does it too.

I'm the same with stripy shirts make my head dizzy

Hi Chrissy, your not going mad it happens to me to, my husband changed my lovely decking for boring slabs because it used to make me dizzy very unsteady on my feet and sickie,

I used to go to a weekly meeting in a local community centre on a Friday for an hour but have stopped because I would feel quite ill, they have a tiled floor with swirls on them after about 5 minutes I felt the floor was moving which gave me motion sickness and I felt the floor was coming up to meet me, at first I thought it was because the hall echoes and made my ears feel strange but I've given it a miss as its not a enjoyable experience,

I now know why I don't like piers I used to think it was the sea through the boards but no it's the virtagle planks that make me dizzy,

I've got no answers for you but your not alone

Gentle hugs Leona

I get this as well with stripes and dots also go dizzy when I bend down to clean skirting boards etc

Yep that's exactly it ! I can't travel for more than 10 mins without getting sicky and dizzy. I wish we could change our decking but its about 6 foot off the floor lol. I also get dixzy when stand up, they say it's low blood pressure but i have high blood pressure ?!?! Also i'll just be sitting down and look to the right and that's it i'm spinning :-(

Have had dizziness/inbalance for 12 years now 24/7...guess I've just learned to live with it..the fluid in one ear nearly all just crystallised..due toSjorens  Syndrone...it's just amazing how one adjusts with  issues in the end...hope your goes away  as quickly as it came.. chrissyboo..have a lovely level day...be blessed..:-) xxx

hi christine,

I am on medication to help with inner ear inbalance as i was just like you describe (some sort of anti-phsycotic which i can't remember the name of). They have helped a lot. I have been wondering about sjorens syndrome as i have to use artificial saliva and tears and also flush my nose.
