dizzyness off balance?

anyone else get this?

Hello Tammy - yes used to get dizzy all the time in the early days and when I stood up everything went off balance until I adjusted to being stood up. That was in the very early days of taking Sertraline and it is one of the known side effects. You don't say how long you have been taking them but they do wear off after about the first two weeks or should do.

im on 12.5mg on my 6th week i only started getting it recently rolleyes plus just started my period maybe thats why also

Hi Tammi, by this time you should be levelling out, however I have noticed past comments on here for some women and specifically when they are on their period with Sertraline. Some seem to experience heightened symptoms of some kind. I can't say that it's ever affected me, however, we are all different. Give it another week or so after your period has stopped and see how you feel. If you are still getting seriously dizzy go and see your doctor because sertraline reduces your blood pressure but If you already have low blood pressure then this could be what.is making you dizzy. Hope you are ok soon.

thank you at my drs app on dec 11 my blood pressure was really high rolleyes so it might be low i read that dizzyness is a side effect of the sertraline. ill give it a week see how i feel i feel better depression wise just the off balance feeling is making me anxious rolleyes
