Usually, CTC would be paid from the Award date, not back-dated.
Which DLA components were included, this you did not state.
Care component to young for mobility so will it get backdated to 22nd of may or 22nd of april new to this confusing me
Oh, I remember now you asking about claiming DLA about a month ago because your child has Beckwith Wiedemann Syndrome. I only remembered because my niece's daughter has it as well, she's 3 now, and was born with cancer, she has 2 more years in remission before she is classed as clear.
Because it is only a short period I would assume it would be backdated to April 22nd 2015, it's only 4 weeks. When they look at months it can be backdated to the maximum of 13 months, I know that may sound strange but thats our Government Legislation for you.
The HMRC are usually quick on backdating payments, usually 7-14 days maximum.

from previous experience in some cases tax credits will only back date payments for one month, as its a child your claiming for this may be different.
