I'm dizzy and congested for no reason. The symptoms started around august with numbness and tingling in my head and neck out of nowhere. Gradually, I've acquired dizziness (near constant worse when I'm driving), headaches (randomly throughout the day), anxiety (when everything else is acting up), small neck pain and sensations of stiffness (sometimes) and weakness in my arms and legs (randomly on different days, not constantly). I'm also sensitive to loud noises and my vision acts up when I'm driving or looking at a screen etc. (I start to see colors and flashing patches of blackness). I've gone to the ER plenty of times only for them to tell me that my heart is fine, and that I don't have tumors in my head. I don't have health insurance so it has been a pain to see a doctor. I finally saw one this past Friday and they called me a "mystery man" because they couldn't figure out what was wrong. They said it might be migraines and gave me a topamax substitute for it. I went from being perfectly fine to gradually feeling like I'm going to die every day. My head sometimes feels like its gonna explode and sometimes I feel like I'm going to pass out lose control of my car while driving. I'm not an alcoholic and I'm not a smoker, I only partake socially. I'm only 27 years old. Do I have MS? Am I having an aneurysm? Stroke? Brain cancer? Someone please help!
You have all the classic symptoms of chronic anxiety...you should see a phychiatrist...take care
Hi there I know exactly how you feel I’ve had all these things happen to me it’s very frightening. All different colours and black and white flashes and a pulling sensation in my head. It is chronic anxiety, I’m on medication now and the symptoms are starting to lessen. Are you taking anything from your doctor?
