I had sex exactly 10 days ago as well as waxed my genital area within the same day. About 2-3 days after intercourse, I felt what I thought was a tear from rough sex (cause if I extended a certain way it felt like my vag was ripping) but it turned out to be a firm bump located on my Perienum area (area between vag and anus). I put ointment on it, a cold compress, and took three antibiotics but nothing has changed. Instead more bumps developed! I got tested for EVERYTHING yesterday and results came back negative BUT i think its only due to the antibiotics I took which, after I got the results I realized this. Can someone help?!?
Negative meens negative. Antibiotics won’t mess with that
I agree with Sarah, if the tests are negative - that’s it. However, it might be something else that you haven’t tested for. You say that the sex was rough, but most of your sores are around your anus. Can you confirm if you had vaginal or anal sex? If it was vaginal - I don’t see how it can cause injuries around your anus.
Dear Shay,
What I’m seeing (although photo is out of focus) are a number of ulcers around your back passage. Is this what you’re worried about? Acute onset superficial ulceration occurring soon after sex is strongly suggestive of herpes. Taking antibiotics won’t help- these are to treat bacterial infections; herpes is a viral infection. That’s why you haven’t shown a response. I’m a bit surprised that you said you were ‘tested for everything’- didn’t the nurse/doctor bother to comment on these lesions? Why didn’t they take a swab of the ulcers for herpes??
If this is herpes, you should get some medication for it if it’s bothering you. You’ll need to take aciclovir tablets (don’t bother with aciclovir cream) and please ask them to swab for herpes.
Rgds,
Adhari.
Thank you @john88875 I had vaginal sex not anal.
Thank you @Sarah44936
yea and its possible that the tests were negative for hsv because it was taken too soon after the exposure. one should wait at least 4 months to get an accurate result
