Do I have a STD?

yesterday I started feeling some burning in my lady parts and pain when wipping myself, I check and it looked like a rash, really red and irritated, like the ones babys get... well I put some cream on it and went to sleep, next morning most of it was gone but now I still have pain in my vaginal area, expecially my labia, and when it feels like a scab, I checked again and I have small bumps on my minor labia and a white spot just below my vagina entrance, I really worried :S

oh and im sorry for bad english

No worries about your English.

Have you recently had a sexual partner?

It does possibly sound like herpes sweetie, as I have it myself. You need to go yo the doctor and get tested to be sure.

you dont need to waste time on this ,go for medical check up that will really help you

As fb says ...

If you have had a sexual partner recently it may be an STI but if you have not it is highly unlikely!

But do please get this checked out by a Genito Urinary Clinic or by a doctor.

There is nothing to be embarrassed about. Medical staff are 100% used to dealing with such areas

I had unprotected sex with someone about 2 weeks ago, the pain I gone today and it doesnt feel as rough, I looked into herpes but never had those blisters I only noticed this yesterday because it was hurting...

thanks for your comment, I already contacted my doctor and will be going soon

well I did have a sexual partner recently, and if it turns out to be and STI I dont understand why would he not tell me and instead infect me as well :s but the pain is no longer here and I only noticed this yesterday, also it doesnt feel as rough, I have lots of allergies in the spring could that be related?

Seasonal allergies have nothing to do w your genitals.

Unfortunately, lots of people lie about their status, but when it comes to herpes, 80% don't even know they are infected, so he probably doesn't even know. He also coukd have five it to you through oral sex, if that's what it turns out to be. It takes 3-6 months for antibodies to show.

This sounds worrying. You could have a sexually. transmitted disease. It happens to the best of us. Make an appointment to see your doctor right away. This won't go away without medical help.

UPDATE: woke up today and there are no bumps, no pain and no itch...like nothing ever happend.

It's lovely to have an update from you!

So very likely it's "one of those things" and so not an STI, not herpes nor anything horrid!

Keep an eye on it [as it were] would be my advice and any recurrence - or perhaps anyway - see the doctor

Dude...Simon, that is not true. Herpes absolutely will be there one day and not the next. "Horrid things" don't just happen to our lady bits like that on a whim. There is nothing else that makes that happen.

And your comment is offensive to us herpes sufferers on here and you're perpetuating the stigma by putting it in a statements like that. The most common reason people don't believes they have herpes, is because of situations just like this. It disappears and they figure they're fine... Denial has to do w it too.

At the end if the day, you should have and need to go to the doctors. It sounds exactly like herpes and the diaper rash cream helps, because it is zinc oxide, something even recommended as treatment for herpes sores to sooth and help heal. You need to go have a blood teat done in 3 months and abstain from sexual conctact w anyone until those results come back. It takes 3 months minimum from time of primary ob, for your body to create antibodies.

I bow to your intimate knowledge ...

However so many worry about so many things that - as you have said in the past - the worry brings its own problems.

The UK websites that I have seen suggest that it does not come and go - or at least not that regularly and again in UK it is not that common.  There were some 32000 infections daignosed last year [and I accept that not all will be but that goes for all STI]

I've woken up w a bump and gone the next day. I don't care what the websites say, they are "text book" examples. I am living proof and I know plenty of people w herpes and it can come and go.

If you notice, she had it for a couple days and eventually it went away... She needs to go get tested and she recently had sexual contact and she's never had something like this happen before what does that say? Females don't just pop up w rashes on pur lady bits

what do you mean by a bump? did you only get one bump? for me the bumps were very very small, so small that I had to take a close up picture to be able to see them also they were the exact color of my skin, and it felt almost like a scab when touched...

It presents differently in everyone. One friend I have, has never had hers then I to sores, always bumps.. Mine stays a bump only and goes away. Herpes w some people, won't even present as bumps at all..no symptoms or very mild.

Your description is strange on not seeing anything, yet they feel like scabs. Do you have a picture of them?

Well It felt like the skin was very dry in that area, I dont have pictures anymore I only used them to check, not a good Idea to walk around with pictures of your vagina on your phone lol but I find it weird that I had a "diaper rash" before hand I'm starting to thing this was an allergic reaction to something, it could be a lot of things I recently wore some spandex pants and thats when I got the rash also I was thaking some sleeping pills that were making my cough and get little ichy dots on my body...

Have you made an appointment with your doctor yet?

yes
