Hi all, so I have some questions on the symptoms of Anxiety. I have never been diagnosed properly with anxiety so I’m not sure if I have it or not but the doctor and my mum said that it’s a possibility. I was wondering what the symptoms are for other people? It all started around 2 years ago, I had my first and only panic attack, I have not had one since. But since that I have had weird symptoms. Sometimes my heart races a lot and it feels so uncomfortable in my chest. I also have migraines around twice a week, I’m constantly bloated and have trouble with my bowel movements. I also have eczema but it appeared from no where. I also get dizzy spells often, but even when I’m just sitting doing nothing and sometimes feel in a dazed state and like I’m floating, it’s so weird to describe. All this occurs, but I don’t know why I would be Anxious, I have lots of friends and I’m fine in social situations, I’m quite friendly and talkative. Does anyone have any of these symptoms that I have?? And is it possible I have anxiety?? Thank you all
Yes Chloe, your symptoms could definitely be related to anxiety. Of course I always recommend that people visit their family doctor just to have things checked out. But I have had all of your symptoms and so have millions of other people. Keep in mind that any symptoms related to anxiety cannot hurt you. Even though they feel weird and scary. Migraines, racing heart, bloating, dizziness, floating feeling, trouble with bm are all common with anxiety. You may not feel anxious, but very often there is an underlying reason for the anxiety. Trying to think if there is any thing happening in your life that is making you feel even a little anxious. Or has anything happened in the past that made you feel that way? Sometimes when you speak with a counselor they can help you with that .
The floating feeling can be caused by the brain trying to protect you from stress, so it tries to block out the outside world. The racing heart will not hurt you. It is caused by your brain sending out adrenaline to try to protect you from stress. Eventually it wears off. Something related to stress or anxiety must be going on for all the symptoms to occur .
do things that help you relax. What helps me is getting regular exercise, eating healthy, and making sure I drink plenty of fluids. That will help too with the bowel problems.
I also listen to meditations on YouTube for anxiety that really relaxed me. If all of this still continues, I would highly suggest that you speak with a counselor. They see this every single day and know how to help! Feel better! 🌸🌸🌸
A lot of those can be classed as anxiety but everyone is different.
My symptoms include tachycardia, hypertension, nausea, vomiting, innappetance, weight loss, a constant feeling of restlessness, shaking and irritability, aggrophobia and reluctance to do much, along with depression.
It may be worth consulting your gp again as the sooner you catch it, hopefully, the easier it is to treat and get past. Perhaps online or over the phone counselling would be beneficial?
All the best to you!
Classic anxiety. Dizzy like being on a boat.

It sounds like Anxiety, although I do feel you need to talk to your GP and get a diagnosis, your GP will be able to put your mind at rest.
Regards Eczema, if not already see your GP regard treatment. Sometimes some feel this skin condition can be caused by stress, your GP will consider creams and ointments
I have PsA and it effects my joints etc, I also have creams and lotions to help me
