Do I have genital herpes?

I have had safe, protected sex with this girl and a week later the neck (area just under corona) of my penis started to burn (feels like a cut sorta pain) only on the right side though and slightly on the left ... the area is reddish and the pain is on-off (70% on 30% off)

It doesn't hurt at all when I urinate or masturbate.

Some time after this, I started to notice tingling/itch all over my body ... localized more on genitals area and mouth (could this be paranioa or stress?).

Does herpes tingle/itch start after pain or before?

The pain and tingling/itch gets worse nighttime ... sometimes I can't sleep, and I woke up from the tingle/itch twice so far.

The overall tingle/itch stopped now. I just feel it in the reddish area in my penis (mentioned above)

There are no sores/clusters/blisters whatsoever ... just what I described above.

Does this sound like herpes?

A few more remarks:

Sexual encounter occured on March 1st. Now it's March 26th. Shouldn't pain stop by now? Assuming it's herpes

The pain I feel isn't excruciating, just painfully annoying.

Can outbreaks last a few weeks onstead of a couple of days?

Seriously doesn't sound like herpes .

The main painful thing you will normally endure while having an first outbreak is painful / burning sensation while urinating ..

And it was protected sex ..

Have you talked to the girl and told her what's going on ? Did you ask her if she currently has any diseases .. Or ever had any past with any diseases?

I don't think it sounds like herpes either.
