I went to planed parent hood couple days ago told them that I had some blood work at a different clinic and came out positive for herpes but she said the test isn’t always reliable so they don’t use it in thier clincs but she said if I ever had an out break or any wired bump on my vagina I never did no symptoms what so ever she she told me it’s Likely that I don’t have it and shouldn’t worry about

I personally dislike when people in certain professions that should be there to help you actually make you feel worse. Specially when they tell you if you don’t have the symptoms you probably don’t have it. It’s like these people are completely unaware that with some people they show no symptom..that’s how herpes is spread. But besides my rant if you feel that the test was incorrect I would test again. If it’s the anti body blood test and it comes back positive but low score I would get another test that actually looks for the virus to see if you’re actually carrying it. You also have to consider the time in which you were potentially exposed. Std testing website suggest waiting 3 months after exposure if you’re taking the antibody test due to the time needed for the body to make antibodies to show on the blood work.
Blood work is the most accurate test I never had an out break but I for sure am positive
