Do you think you can stretch stitches

From sitting to long? Also is it normal to me a little itchy/dry. Woke up that way this morning. But quickly went away. I do feel stingy pulling stretch type pains in vag???

I'm sure that sitting too long can stretch the tissues and make you sting.

I'm seven months post orolapse op, and if I sit too long, it really stings and burns.

Hopefully it will ease with time.

Still? After 7 months? Mam, I was really hoping this stuff would go away by then

So was I, what did you have done?

I'm 6 months post op and still get that shooting pain up vag and anus if I sit too long or worse sit on something hard . I got a &P and sacrospinous hysteropexy. I also still bleed after sex and if I over do things with swimming/walking x

I mean will it damage repair? I sit a lot and am worried it will stretch the vag out again

No, it will be too high to damage repair, plus they put layers of stitches in.

It just hurts,still.

Matron used to say, in her opinion a posterior repair took at least a year to stop hurting.

Hard surfaces are a no no for me, have a memory foam flat cushion in the car,and take everywhere with me.

Thanks for the reply and help 😀

I am 9 days after op and having the same feelings as you Steph. Feel very dry and stingy inside. Not had any other pain. Have found sitting upright isn't very comfortable though so have been trying to sit with my feet up so I'm in a more inclined position . Don't know if any of this is normal. You really don't get much information about what you might feel do you.

I have found myself to be very very emotional as well , crying at the drop of a hat and feel quite isolated after the op as I was so active but now I'm scared to do anything for fear of doing damage. Really not looking forward to spending the next 6 weeks " with my feet up" as I keep being told to do lol .

I had cystocele, rectocele, bladder repair and hysterectomy. I am almost 7 weeks out but still having a lot of issues.

Yes I am finding it very boring to lay around all day. Although i do still tire easily

im the same with getting tired as well, fingers crossed all our symtoms are just part of the normal healing process. xx
