Doctor says doesn't look like herpes??

So I'm awaiting my HSV blood results tomorrow but trying to ease my mind in the meantime.

Here's some history. I haven't had sex in 6 months. I've had sex twice in my life, both unprotected and different people. Bad decisions, I'm very regretful. I get very very bad razor burn at times when I shave as my hair is so thick. I've been shaving with the same razor for months (oops...) and I dry shave a lot. So it all points to being razor bumps.

But this time around, I was waiting to get a wax to stop ingrown hairs... so after 2 weeks of not shavin I STILL had some bumps. I picked at them like the idiot that I am, and then shaved over the top of them causing them to bleed and scan. They're only small, and MOST are covering a hair follicle. I went to the GP as I have been fretting about herpes all damn week. Doctor said highly unlikely given my "bumps" aren't very painful (only sore from shaving over!) and that I could get a blood test if I want. He looked at the front of my vulva area and said he's seen a lot of genital herpes and this doesn't look like it. Usually they are more blistered apparently. Mine aren't clustered, they're just all over my pubic mound. No sores in the labia at all. A few bumps beneath the skin at the top of the large labia which I believe are more so scars from previous shaving bumps (there's no head on them, no blister, no pain or anything.)

I just have a really bad feeling about it. I know I haven't had sex in 6 months and often the first outbreak would be within a couple of weeks of contracting the virus BUT I know that's not always the case. I have a suppressed immune system too, due to medication for an autoimmune disorder. I don't think it resembles "herpes" but I just have a bad feeling. I have razor burn from shaving a second time, so applied tea tree oil cream... which has now caused some swelling in my labia and the bumps look more prominent (still no heads or blistering appearance).

I know you can't diagnose me from a post on a forum! But some reassurance would be great. Or just your opinion and thoughts on this in general. Thank you

Also, the doctor looked and said "do you still want a blood test", so I was feeling pretty positive after that. But since looking at the bumps on the top of my labia near the pubic mound im feeling more uncertain. I know doctors can't diagnose JUST from visual examination too.

any way you could upload a picture? and did you decide to get the blood test?

razor burn is very common in that area- i get it literally every time i shave.

also, with a compromised immune system i believe if you had hsv you’d be more prone to a more severe outbreak, likely before this 6 month mark. i think you should be good

sorry, meant to say did you get your blood results back?
