My doctor told me I might have fibromyalgia at my latest appointment. I started having joint pain in my ankles in January and in just a short time after that the joints in my knees started to hurt. The pain wasn't that bad at first but now it's spread to my elbows, wrists and also upper back. It's an uncomfortable pain that feels like it's crawling up from my joints to other parts of my body and gives me a strong feeling of weakness. I have trouble falling asleep and am always tired. I've also started to have more frequent fatigue and constant achiness. I always feel like I'm on the verge of a fever but when I check my temp it's normal. My doctor told me I just need to be on a better sleep schedule, eat healthier and walk more often. but I have trouble falling asleep so I don't see how that's even possible. I'm in pain quite often anymore I don't know how to manage it. I have is Advil but it doesn't seem to help. And I use icy hot and a heating pad but the heat only distracts from the pain so I take hot showers but I can only shower so much.
I'm also sensitive to light and heat and a little stiff when I get up from lying down but I don't know if that's valid info.
I was also diagnosed with wegener's granulomatosis last year but I've been in remission since around December, and Im pretty sure it's not a flare up.
Sorry if this is confusing and all over the place, but if you have any advice to share that would be cool
