so far starters, I had unprotected sex and I got chlamydia. I got treated for it and the itchiness went away. but then I went to the doctor who specializes in penises. I went because I felt pain in my penis such as the shaft was always hurting and urethra was feeling pain. the doctor examined me everywhere and told me my penis looks normal and says my nerves are probobly very sensitive. he said to breath and go home. maybe take some nerve meds. I went home and all was fine for a month then I got a UTI. the tip of my pee hole was burning and still is every now and then. I went to the hospital and the doctor there said im clean of stds and herpes. I do have hsv type 1, cold sores. she was confused on how I got a UTI so she tested me for uncommon syphilis and that was negative. she gave me Bactrim antibiotics to cure my UTI. now im over halfway through the bottle and the symptoms have calmed a little but i still feel the tip burning every now and then plus my penis always feels sour in the middle of my urethra. I feel like I have to pee alot. the doctor said boys normally don't get UTIs unless its caused by an infection or stds. but she doesn't know what it is. so far 3 doctors don't know why I feel all these things in my penis. its so annoying and been going on for a long time. I just want to feel nothing again. like right now, I'm feeling like I have to pee, a little sting in the tip of my pee hole, pain in bladder, and penis shaft feels a little sour. some of the symptoms come and go. maybe the UTI is just being stubborn bc i been on antibiotics alot. before I went to the penis doctor, I was on alot of Bactrim antibiotics alot so maybe its immune to it now? can anyone help?
UTI’s can certainly take a long time to clear up. I am not a doctor or a medical professional but have had UTI’s before. Some medicines do not work, but it is important to finish all of the medication. I would also make sure you are not messing with the tip as I know you can get curious and start messing around down there with your fingers which can introduce more bacteria to the area. I mean the urge to pee and all is normal along with the bladder pain. I have had it to the point to where my prostate swelled up. Take care.
