Late last night on this forum one person had put themselves in far too fast a withdrawal from diazepam.they had my message and was lucky enough to have an understanding doctor who told them to "go back on 4mg" which is what I suggested.
Earlier today I was with somebody else who had been abruptly withdrawn from lorazepam tapered to diazepam. This person had been hallucinating yet they refused to reinstate.the person I visit is in a really bad way. Why would two doctors act as if in conflict? I will add more to this!

Abrupt withdrawal from benzos should only be attempted in a clinical setting under close observation.My daughter works in a rehab facility they will not deal directly with benzo wd rather they send them to a 3 day hospital detox.

Hi just wanted to let you know feeling much better today after going back on my regular dosage of diazepam (4mg) daily. Also I'm angry that that little pill has so much control over me...I feel I've been on it to long (8yrs. aprox) determined to get off of it but next time only slower and with the help of my dr.
Abrupt withdrawal goes against all guidelines eg:
