Hi Tracy yes anxiety can cause a number of physical symptoms. The symptoms you have mentioned are very common.Ask your doctor to refer you to a therapist that can help you manage your anxiety.
Do you get arm pain for weeks at a time
I do and a lot more however l don't focus on it and l know it is anxiety nothing more.Trust me you are not having a heart problem.
Tracy
what really helped me is listening to audio meditations on YouTube for anxiety or stress. Just search for guided meditation for anxiety, or stress or depression.
I do this a couple times a day. Many to choose from. My symptoms go away.
Yes! Anxiety is a complex thing. In the past year I had to call and ambulance, and have someone take me to the ER no less than 5 times. They have never found anything wrong with my heart.
I have burning in my chest, numbness in arms and legs, pressure in my chest, palpitations, tremors, dizziness and racing thoughts. I have a hard time believing that it is just Anexity because it happens when I'm feeling good or wakes me from sleep. I have had anexity in the past but this is different. Symptoms come and go, can last from 30-35 min to days. I never have all the same symptoms at the same time.
Its so horrible ive had pain in my left arm for weeks and my chest never thought anxiety could do this
Im gonna try it thank you
Me either. I have been dealing with this for a year and still have a hard time believing it's just anexity. I saw a cardiologist and did stress test and echocardiogram, countless blood tests and ekgs. Nothing. I also have been seeing a therapist. The one thing she told me that helps ease my mind a little was that if it was something serious, the symptoms would not get better when I took the Ativan - which they do. So I have to try and relax because all the worry will make it worse and is just as bad for your body.
For peace of mind, get a second opinion or go see a cardiologist. I hope you get it figured out. I understand how frustrating and scary it can be.
