I’ve been having typical gallbladder pain for 3 weeks,with a normal upper abdominal ultrasound scan. I’ve now developed a new symptom, mild indigestion. Does anyone else have this? I’ve got another GP appointment next week, looks like I’ll be paying for some more private investigations.
Yes. I had indigestion the first few weeks but it’s calmed down a lot. I am 5 weeks post OP. I took a few chewable antacids before bed and it helped.

I suffered from indigestion first. I have 8 gallstones. I have been told to see a gastroenterologist , for internal “camera”.
hi ceri, did you get any answers yet? ive had right side oains for years that were put down to a grumbly gallbladder when ultrasounds were clear. i now experience bad refux/indigestion with these pains. booked for an endoscopy but doc seems convinced its not gallbladder…
Hi Suzanne, things moved on quite a bit and I ended up in Emergency Surgical Admissions with terrible nausea and dark urine. my liver function tests were extremely off and I have since had a CT scan which again showed normal liver and gallbladder. Some health staff are saying it was probably gallbladder related, others say not because the scans were clear. All very scary and frustrating. Slowly feeling better but can’t put the weight back on.
aw sorry to hear you ended up in hospital. i was sent there last week by my gp due to an episode of extreme pains. bloods were all clear so sent home with pain meds. hopefully things are looking better for you now.
Hope you get some answers and it’s easily dealt with. I’ve always had good health so I’m not good with illness always imagining the worst!
thinking the worst is my main problem too! cant help it but wish i could. Google at 3am is not always the best thing! 
That is funny! I have woken up (usually 4 am for me) and grabbed my phone to Google the latest symptom.
