Does anyone actually have anything possitive to say abou

Does anyone actually have anything possitive to say about their experience ? I came on to this site to try and make myself feel better and now I feel worse so thanks for that! I've just been diagnosed with an overactive thyroid so please can someone give me something to feel possitive about ?

The overative thyroid gland impedes you getting overly fat (watch your tummy though in middle age), so it is a good thing if you are in the first world country with a first world income and can afford the carbohydrates.

Even better, if you can afford an air conditioner in the hot weather.

I would not have it any other way! Everybody else is a cretin (joke).

I would nto recommend any of the rtreatments. They are worse than the overactivity.

I think overactivity increses the likelihood of the "bonk". This can kill you but it rarely does.

I was diagnosed with an over active thyroid in April, although probably suffered from it much longer. I thought at times I was going senile, and hated being 'tired and emotional'. Now in Oct my levels are going the other way slightly, but I have had about four weeks of normality which has made me see the light at the end of the tunnel. I have stopped stressing about the condition and now accept that I will feel tired, i will have days of being weepy, and I will feel sorry for myself, but its not the end of life, it will get better, I will be normal and when I have a bad day, there will be a good one to compensate.

And I would ignore the comments by perseus, I suspect he does not have a clue what the condition is like and thinks he is clever by writing the above crap.
