Does anyone else constantly drop thingsl

I am becoming so clumsy these last few months (diagnosed with fibro two months ago) We have a tiled floor in kitchen and i am always dropping cutlery or plates etc. My husband jumps out of his skin when this happens as the noise is so loud even with a teaspoon. He says i rush about too much but anyone with FM knows thats not actually possible as the pain in feet knees etc prevents you. Can this be connected to fibro and has anyone else experienced this annoying trait..

Hi Sorelin,

Sorry to hear that, just wondered do you shake or is it because you cannot grip things with the pain or your strength.I have essential tremor which makes me drop things, also some medications can make you tremble so that does not help.Have you mentioned it to the GP it maybe worth doing so.Let us know how it goes.

Wish you well

Joan

I am very clumsy & have also lost my sense of balance. It is a tad annoying but you do get used to it. I am extremely careful if picking up precious things.

Hi . Thanks for answering my question. It really helps to know I am not alone and that these things are down to fibro and not something else that's gone wrong with me. I can put up with most things as long as I know there is a reason for them. Take care.
