I have headaches for weeks which freak me out, and now im feeling numbness on my right leg (calf) and on my wrist. I know this has happened to me before, but it still freaks me out.
Does anyone else still get scarred with symptoms they already had??
I hope Im not alone.
Yes, many people do feel scared even with symptoms they already had. But you can't let your mind become fearful because that can create more symptoms. You have to keep reminding yourself that this is all due to stress and anxiety and the symptoms cannot hurt you. You are the one in control not the anxiety. Keep reminding yourself of that.
Did you have a visit with your doctor when you first got the symptoms? What did he or she say?
listen to a YouTube meditation called detachment from overthinking. I think it could help you.
try to stay more active and social so you're not always thinking about this.
when you get symptoms, you have to have an attitude of "this is OK. I can handle it. I will be fine and this will pass." Because that keeps your mind calm and it's actually true.
just to make you feel better, my symptoms started in my 20s and Now everything is just fine. I had many anxiety symptoms in the past including the numbness , headaches, weakness etc. but I have been in control of my anxiety for sometime now and feel great. Fear is a wasted emotion and is worry about the future that doesn't even exist yet, it's only a concept.
Live your life! You will be just fine 🌸😁

My Chronic Pain condition gives me pains that are counterproductive and waistul I have to accept those and understand when a pain becomes useful and productive caused by my condition. New pain caused by a new condition. That freaks me out as my Chronic Pains can transmit to various parts of the body not affected by my Chronic condition, I need to understand that and make adjustments and concentrate on areas that are Chronic Pain

Yes, very scared. We all think we are dying. That feeling you get when you feel like someone is holding your head underwater and you can't come up for air. No, you are not alone. Question: are you taking meds? What time are you taking them ? Sometimes when my meds ( kalopin or xanex) wear off at night I get head aches. Or if I lay the wrong way in bed sleeping. Remember your stressed and so your muscles are tight and easily cramp and spasm including the ones in your neck to your head. We all experience some weird pains or something to convince us we are dying. Heart pounding, lack of oxygen, dizziness, room closing in, many different scenarios but they all start in your head. Treat the head, the rest will fall in to line.
