I am thankfully pretty much back to normal (hurrah!), except for a minor ache in the tailbone area, which is only noticeable when I bend over.
I don't think it's period-related, since that usually gets me in the lower back, so I suspect it's due to genital herpes (the sacral ganglia is located in the same area).
Just wondering if anyone has this, and does it eventually go away?
from what i have read, yes it does go away. im just getting through my first outbreak right now and have that same pain so i know what you are talking about. i think it is juat another side effect of gh sadly.
I actually just started getting one today out of no where? Just took some Aleve hoping the pain subsides!
I also later read that it's related but eventually goes away. Anyway, good news! The strange ache only seemed to last for a week or two, so it didn't stick around for as long as I was expecting before fading. Hopefully both of you won't have it for long, too. Also hope it doesn't recur!
My mom told me to also not overthink it because I already have back issues, so I think any problem I've been having I'm blaming on the GH. Idk, but it's already fading a bit!
Strangely, I used to feel sore in the same approximate area when laying face-up in bed after a while. Not an internal/joint ache, but more like a surface issue. This was before GH, so clearly my mattress sucks, lol. However, ever since GH, that surface soreness no longer happens! Heh, I'd rather my previous issue than GH, though!!
Before an outbreak I usually have a burning pain in my lower back and soreness in my tailbone and inner thighs so I feel that what you're experiencing is normal
