Does anyone else have pains that come and go quick...like within minutes

HI, PLEASE HELP!!does this sound like typical fibro...first my upper arms hurt but feel better 5 minutes later. Then random pains in upper back, chest, arm pit, that do not last long and move around sort of. An hour later i am limping because my ankles hurt. 1/2 hour later ankles are fine and it starts all over again!! ugh then if i lay down my hips hurt!! its soooo exahusting ! i think i am losing my mind!!

You are not losing your mind. Yes this happens. For instance, and this has happened many times, I will also scratch my head then all of a sudden jump because I have a very sore spot that hurts like hell. Touch it and its so sore cant barely touch it. About half hour later, the spot and pain is gone. I know its so weird. Its all the nerves that are affected. It is common.

Hi, No your not loosing your mind. It sounds exactly like I am suffering. Makes me feel silly because people don't understand how one has pain one second and gone the next to some other part. I have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia so I must believe that is what it is. Also the fatigue gets me down. Makes me feel lazy but i've always been a person on the go. Best wishes, From Josephine.

The irregularity of pain is one of the most frustrating things about fibro. I had pain in my lower jaw yesterday that came on suddenly. Within a couple of minutes it was so bad that it made me cry. It lasted about 30 minutes, then subsided. I have to now carry a fold-up walking stick with me to cope with sudden spasms, that can disappear as quickly as they arrive. Unfortunately non-sufferers don't understand. I'm afraid you just have to deal with the pain in that moment, and know that it will disappear.

I'm here with you, not diagnosed with a disease yet still waiting to see a rhuematologist and neurologist but look at my symptoms and you'll see where I mention my pains constantly rotate too. It's so dang hard to explain because there's always a couple joints/muscles hurting and the pain is constantly moving and changing type.

Don't lost your mind, just keep pushing and know we all are given challenges for a reason. I'm exhausted from pain and the symptoms as well just know you'll learn as I will more about the triggers, medicines and nutrition that can help. The hardest part I think is waiting for a diagnosis to know what you need to do. I've already began a super strict diet that is geared towards eliminating added inflammation.

Just keep your head up and keep fighting.
