I been told i have fibromyalgia and keep getting bruises, does anyone else get this
Hi,
I've suffered with fibro as well as chronic fatigue. Before i was diagnosed i kept on bruising without doing anything (still happens now). When I got my diagnosis I also found out I suffer from antiphospholipid syndrome. Its a simple blood test but it may be an answer to why you bruise. I hope this helps.
thank you will do
i dont bruise badly but the area of impact feels bruised for days or sometimes weeks
i get what i call impact pain like turns your stomach , bit like when you bang your elbow than over the next few days i get pain coming out in other places like , if i bang my left hip, i get really bad pain on impact, but then it wheres of and the pain comes out in t he centre of my back and lingers for days.
hi there,
i suffer terriable from bruises. i can just brush past something and i will bruise. i still have a faint outline of a bruise that happend last October when is bumped my leg on my suit case.
have to avoid my sister in laws house for 2 weeks before my holidays as she has two dogs and if they jump up at me i get covered in bruises.
worst problem for me is that i suffer from virtigo and i am constantly of balance and walking into things, if people could see my body they would think i had been abused by my husband. can be embarresing at times.
kind regards
janet
same here looks bad
Since being diagnosed in may 2015, I have also suffered very itchy skin, not so much dry and I bruise for no apparent reason. GP sent me for blood work, anticoagulant, all came back normal. I feel sometimes that people and GP think I make it up. I get bruises anywhere from breasts to hands and feet.
So frustrating when we already suffer from pain, fatigue, lack of sleep, memory loss and now ignorance!!

I suffer the exact same problems. Some bruising is very deep and the pain is intense days before the bruising shows. I have had Fibromyalgia for 30 years. It has continually gotten worse. Some days I look like I've been abused. The itchy skin and briusing started over 6 months ago and the cycles of excruciating pain are much more frequent as is the fatigue and fog. Hang in there Mandy♡♡
