about 3 weeks ago i had unprotected sex with a female who tested positive for hsv2 . i suspected maybe i got it. last week i noticed a small painless rash on shaft of my penis, but also noticed a rash on my face, hand, both flanks, both thighs and bicep.
none had blisters or were painful. just itchy from time to time. would a primary out break present in this manner?? she said she didnt know she had it and the only reason she tested was because i asked her after the rash on penis

I know of a close friend with herpes that have your symptoms..that was how their 1st outbreak started. Get tested and keep monitoring your symptoms Every doctor told me I was paranoid & I didn’t have herpes. My initial outbreak was 2 days after exposure.
My 1st breakout was close to but not on my penis..it looked like an ants bite with a mild itch..so I thought it was friction burn.
The thing about most general doctors is that they have no clue about the many symptoms herpes displays. They’re only aware of classic, archaic symptoms about water like fluid filled legions. Most of them don’t know about the sharp pains that go down the legs of some patients. They can be very dismissive about symptoms they’re unaware of in regards to herpes. Unless you have an actual positive test result with classic symptoms…going to a general doctor could be extremely frustrating. If you’re not sure go to an std clinic or online.
I did 5 tests for herpes 1 & 2 igm & igg over the span of 9 months with 2 different labs. They all came back negative however, the last one, the values were the closest to crossing the positive threshold.
The reason I did them was because I kept experiencing symptoms related to herpes & the person who I contracted it from tested positive(hsv2). After we were intimate,2 days later my symptoms started. So I took her to get tested & she came back positive. My last test after the 9th month of exposure was 1.05 & the value for testing was positive was 1.1.
My exposure was back in 2017 & I still experience symptoms, got tested for HIV, syphilis..both negative.
My initial symptoms were & still today are:
multiple yeast infections
sudden sharp leg pains
3)Stiff neck,pain in upper back, spinal area
5)Reddish Vesicles on my penis head & anal region
7)UTI (once)
pityriasis alba
occasional sores inside my mouth
The lowest dose of acyclovir hurts my right kidney & makes me constipated. Valacyclovir doesn’t really have any adverse effects on me but it’s too soon to tell i just started
