April 2019 I started getting nauseous in the mornings. Then starting getting terrible heartburn after eating. this lasted through to the end of August. Then heartburn stopped, but was replaced with stomach ache and burning feeling..sometimes it feels crampy too. it is debilitating and causes me to miss work on occasion. I have not felt well for 6 months. I eat bland and started 20mg of nexium 4 weeks ago. but not helping. I've had bloodwork, ultra sound of stomach, and barium swallow. all came back normal. I have not had endoscopy done yet..I'm scared to have one done..risks..do my symptoms sound like gastritis? I'm worried its something worse...

It could well be Gastritis but you really do need an endoscopy (camera into your stomach) to give a proper diognosis. Talk to your dr and see if you can get another ppi if appropriate. Good luck.
Did you take the nexium every day for 4 weeks? Or did you just take it a few times?
