Does microabrasion cause premature death of teeth?

Hello everyone. I’m new in this forum. I visited a dentist recently, to get my teeth treated. I have dental fluorosis and I thought that microabrasion followed by bleaching will get my teeth white and normal. But the dentist told me that microabrasion will result in premature death of my teeth. Now I’m 20 and he says that by 30, the microabrated teeth will die/finish and will have to be removed, and an artificial teeth will have to be put. I found this surprising because I have read that microabrated teeth live as long as normal healthy teeth. So is it true that my teeth will die prematurely if I go for microabrasion?

He also said that after eroding the enamel through microabrasion, a veneer will be necessary to fill it up. So is this true?

I really want to fix my teeth but I’m afraid that I may end up losing my teeth. Thanks guys. It will be really very kind of you for any advice.
