Hi all.
Two years ago I suffered a Weber type a fracture on my left ankle, it all seemed to heal up properly at the time after wearing an aircast boot for a couple of months. However I have had ongoing pain ever since and was told it would just go away. Two years on however the ankle is very weak, feels unstable, I have pain going from my left materal mallelous all the way up my left side of the leg to the knee and it sprains alot randomly. Currently I wear a Neo G brace and luckily don't have a job where I need to stand up alot.
Upon X-Ray they said it look normal about a month ago with some scarring etc and prescribed a round of physio, my experience with physio isn't great. No one seems to know the issue currently and I was told if physio doesn't work I will need surgery, which worries me alot.
Has anyone had this type of fracture and had positive experience with physio, or similar injuries with good physio outcome? I start my first bout of physio in 2 weeks so I will let you know how it goes!
