Does the tiredness go away???

So tired all the time and yawning...does it get better?

Hi Nicole how long have you been taking Flux? I'm coming up to 7 weeks & I still feel tired & struggle to get out of bed even though I'm awake because of the lethargy. Doctor has advised me to get more except exercise by doing a couple of brisk daily walks.

Hi Nicole

Yes it does go away, it took between 6-8 weeks but after that I slowly starting to get some energy back. Until then I felt everything was a struggle & had to have a nap most days.

Iv now been on fluoxetine 12 weeks & the last two weeks iv managed to stay awake all day which is quite an achievement for me!!!

Take it one step at a time & if you can have a nap when your tired, people forget depression is an illness & your body needs rest to recover.

Take care, I hope you feel better soon.

Katie x

Hi all

I'm on week 8 - yawning in spells, napping in spells, very stiff and swollen neck (may be related to my new blood pressure tablets tho&#39.

Have felt brighter for about 10 days maybe, not 100%, maybe 70%. Sleep is problem at night - getting me down a bit as not sure if it is just the Fluoxetine, the stiff neck and or the bad back ive had for 5 months.

Ups and downs, swings and roundabouts, oh-hum!

I am just starting my 4th week and still feeling dreadfully tired, mainly because I am not sleeping properly during the night, but I do feel things are a little better and I have had a couple of days where I have managed to stay awake all day. I do feel a little more positive about things so despite the side effects, I do feel they are worth sticking with, life now doesn't look quite as black - more dark gray! Good luck, I hope you get through x

Why did you put a winky face?

Was it supposed to be the closed bracket?

Yes it was!

I think they have just kicked in - gonna be one of those days (here we go!)!
