Does this look like a herpes sore?

I've attached a photo. I am sexually active, but wondering if this could also be due to irritation from anal penetration or fecal matter.

It does look like a herpes sore, the best way to find out is to get to your Doctor ASAP. As it is best to swab the sore to find out if it is in fact Herpes
