Does this look like a skin tag or something else?

I’m 26(F), almost 27 and have not had penetrative intercourse before. Days ago, I was washing with soap in the shower and felt something dangling between my labia minora, on the inside fold, in the center. So after my shower, I looked at it in the mirror and saw what seemed like a skin tag. I don’t know how I could not have noticed it unless it grew overnight. :confused:

It has been kind of itching at night. But last night, it was hurting, and I noticed today that it turned black. I thought maybe it got twisted, and that would be why it’s turning black; but when I checked, it seems intact and unharmed. Just black. If I were to estimate how long it is, it’s probably 0.70 cm. It’s small. (I had to get weird angles and attempt to hide my area with paper on the second one because I didn’t want to expose myself.) It’s my first time having this.

Have you ever had this? Any thoughts on this? A skin tag or possibly something WORSE?

I think its a skin tag but it is full of blood thats why it appears black. It may have been twisted somehow as you say. As its been hurting and itching do have a word with your doctor about it, they can easily be removed and I think a chat to your doctor would ease your fears.
