Does this look like genital herpes or something else?

Hello everyone,

Male / 22 years old
Around March 15th-20th (can’t remember the exact date) I had unprotected sex with someone, and there was definite genital / oral to anus contact (no penatration however).

Within the following day, I noticed that there was firm-ish bump on one side of of the area surrounding my anus. It worried me but it was not painful so I decided to wait and see what would happen as it could have just been a basic pimple or something. This was on / around March 22nd.

From there, more bumps / lesions appeared. At first I suspected anogenital warts but after doing some more research online I think it may be genital herpes. I do plan on going to a doctor ASAP but considering everything with the quarantine I did not have the opportunity to go already (and I just wanted to make sure it wasn’t something I was overblowing).

Also, I began to suspect herpes because the initial bump that appeared for the most part has completely gone away. There were 3-4 bumps that were a painful but now they seem to be a bit smaller as if they are healing. The appearance is what is throwing me off as I have not seen anything online that looks like what I have and aside from itching I don’t think I’ve had the “classic symptoms” of severe burning pain, pain while passing stools, etc.

I know that getting checked out is the most important thing and I will but I just wanted to know what others think and they believe I’m right in my guess that this is Herpes. Thank you!

(Note: Explict Pictures of my anus and also I occasionally get hemmorhoids so that’s what the pinkess directly around my anus is!)

Not sure if anyone is following this but here’s my update.

Update: Just got back from Urgent Care and the doctor agreed that the appearance / symptoms were strange (considering I haven’t really had the classic painful symptoms). There was also no discharge or anything to swab. I was prescribed Acyclovir (3 time a day for seven days) for Herpes with the recommendation of following up with my primary care physician for a blood test when I can.

Still open to thoughts if anyone has them or if they experience or have seen something similar to my case.
