



Hi. Hard to tell really. I would question whether this is lymph nodes? Why so much inflammation if it is lymph nodes. I am not qualified to offer any diagnosis. These are just my thoughts. Have you tried a hot poultice?
I understand the need to reach out for confirmation and thoughts on this ingrowing hair resembling lump. Could I possibly suggest the use of underwear next time? Or even just the picture which shows the lump and not the vagina would have have been sufficient. Just a thought.
If it is the only one you have ever had, it is probably not HS. However, if you continue to get them, it might be.
However, boils or cystic pimples from pressure/friction and heat/moisture are common in the upper thigh area and can act similar to HS, but they are usually caused by friction and/or bacteria.
Try hot compresses, cleansing with antibacterial soap 2xdaily. Also if you soak in hot water and Epsom salt it may come to a head and burst and drain. Otherwise it may need to be lanced by a medical professional and possible antibiotics prescribed because it could be Staph or MRSA, although the latter is less likely.
