This is a painful spot that I’d say comes around every 6-8 months or so. It’s triggered by friction (dry sex, inserting menstrual cup). In the past it seemed to come with yeast infection symptoms (itching, cottage cheese discharge) and to go away with Fluconazole, but maybe that was just a placebo and it really went away on its own? This time around I have no other symptoms other than pain when touching the spot and the pain is not too bad. I just think it’s unlikely that a sore from a yeast infection or other infection always shows up in the exact same spot, thoughts???
