get it swabbed. also i hope you understand that HSV2 can be still transmitted even whilst using a condom if the condom did not cover all of his penis as its a skin to skin contact virus. Also he can still spread the virus even without an outbreak, which is also why people who are asymptomatic with the virus who show no symptoms at all still manage to spread the virus because they don’t know they have it.
