Does this sound like a panic attack?

I was feeling fine over Christmas vacation but since I've gotten back to work this morning things have gone to hell. I noticed my heart was beating rapidly along with shortness of breath and mild aches in my chest that have not radiated anywhere in my body. I'm still experiencing it now and I have no way of knowing if it's a heart attack or panic attack. I've been to the hospital once for this back in March of this year and they found nothing wrong with me. I suffer from GAD and stress from work so could that be triggering this after I took a break from work?

I’m also 27 years old

These symptoms have lasted for over a half hour as well.

hi yes i would definitley say its anxiety related i have all those symptoms .YOU are probably more stressed about going back to work ,maybe you wasnt even aware of this good luck deep breaths

It’s still happening even after an hour. I still get shortness of breath and rapid heart rate.

My limbs feel like ice and I feel discomfort when I lift objects.

this is most likely anxiety. i shouldnt diagnose , so if u feel u truly are going to have a heart attack .. id see a dr. but yes, i suffer AWFUL anxiety & stress and have this alllll the time. ive been in to hospital time after time again for chest pain etc. chest pain and difficulty breathing are both SUPER common with anxiety and stress. the mind is a very powerful thing , the body does weird things during times of anxiety or stress. pins n needles, heart/chest pain (squeezing, shocking, dull ache) every form of chest pain u could imagine , stomach problems, dry mouth, i get shooting pains in my back that almost put me on the floor when im super stressed so the answer to ur question is.. yes, this very much sounds like anxiety. i do suggest not to search ANYTHING up though as that will convince you its a heart attack.

Hard not to when my heart is still pounding in my chest. It’s been hours since this started and I’m finding no relief

how are you feeling now? did it pass?

Chest is still tight, heart rate is still high and short on breath. I’m home now.

Yes I am very confident that this is a panic attack. Mine always consisted with difficulty breathing, rapid heart beat, sweaty hands and feet, and sometimes being dizzy. Just stay busy and keep your mind off of anxiety and I am sure you can beat it!

Went to sleep and my heart rate is still elevated when I woke up. I must’ve pulled a muscle or something in my chest because my overall heart rate was fine before yesterday.
