My doctor prescribed a very low dose of Trazodone to be taken only as needed for anxiety and sleep. I looked it up and it appears it is really a drug to be taken long term as an antidepressant. Anyone else have experience using this drug for anxiety and does it work?
HI, my doctor also prescribed me TRAZODONE to help me sleep as well as CITALOPRAM in the mornings to help deal with anxiety, i find that they both work well.. I was hesitant with the CITALOPRAM being because i looked it up an it said it was an anti-depressant/ anti-suicidal an i don’t feel im either suicidal or depressed..
Thank you! I have been hesitant to take it because I don’t want to bother if it must be taken long term. His prescription just says “as needed” so I will try it tonight before bed.
