Does your anxiety make you paranoid?

Like worry non stop? I feel like since my anxiety shotup a bit I have been worried about the smallest things. sad I feel like this is only happening to me. It would be great to get some reassurance that I'm not going crazy. My therapist says its just my anxiety.... but uhhh so tough. Help! Like any other anxious person reassurance is my best friend.

Hello Dee

You are not going crazy, you suffer Anxiety, that many people do have, many do struggle to become more calm in control of their lives and body.

Has your Therapist introduced any coping techniques yet. You could try Breathing Techniques, they are explained on site. Sometimes if you could relax that would help as well. Try Mindfulness Relaxation Technique, your Therapist could help you with an explanation for both systems. Hopefully they will help you calm yourself.

Absolutely, I get really horrible thoughts, like I sometimes worry about my kids tripping, falling, and hitting their heads on the coffee table and dying because they hit it in a certain spot. I worry all the time about things that are really don't matter or that have such slim chances of happening it is crazy to waste time worrying about them. Of course I worry about "normal" things like money and bills and stuff too but like ALL the time. Even when I have all my bills paid on time or early, I am still worried about the next time and the next time and the next time. UGGG!!! No it isn't only you and I am pretty sure it is all from our anxiety but yes it sucks!!! Hang in there!!!

When it comes to bills we all feel the same like a cat on a hot tin roof, we are only happy when we are all clear and we are solvent

Know how you feel our dog Pax was playing on the beach today and He disappeared from view, eventually we could see him way out where river meets sea, the little sod was a small dot on the horizon, mind He rushed back, I still do not know how He heard us from so far away, it took him over a five min gallop to get back to the car

O no what a panic you must have felt .someonevleft my gate open and my little dog ran on the road I was nearly sick and couldn’t sleep for nights thinking about the awful things that could have happened .Overthinking NOT good .

No you are not going crazy...anxiety just makes you feel that...find something to take you mind off of thinking g...maybe a week and find, reading, walking or just sitting outside listening to a the birds
