So I was diagnosed with cfs 2 years ago when I was feeling sick for about 1 year. Welllll my symptoms vary and my fatigue really changes at different times during the day. My mornings are wayyyy worse than my afternoons. And sometimes in the evenings I feel normal. Is this something that is normal with cfs?
Hi Madai. I feel the worst during the mornings and better at night. I think that is very common for people who suffer with CFS/ME. I think they are finding lower cortisol levels in people with CFS during the morning hours.
KPD
me too!!
Hi, I am exactly the same. Feel more human and with it in the evenings
Yes, same here. Mornings are the worse by evening I feel somewhat better. On bad days it's all worse morning or evening.
Me too, sometimes come round around dinner time. I even stsrted a discussion about it a while back, do u also get odd good n bad days not a flare up but tiredness between days can vary too?
Hi how do you cope with cfs and how where you diagnosed
That all sounds very familiar, Madai... I know my bouts of depression make it worse and I often have morning anxiety when I first wake up. I am taking certain supplements now on a regular basis (for about a week) B6, B12, magnesium... as well as Adrenal Support and Blood Builder...and I am SO SO SO hoping it will help... I, too, probably feel best in the evenings, but not exactly ready to run any races! Have you noticed if there are any foods or supplements in particular that seem to help you? Best wishes to you!
Well when I’m normal... (right now I’m having anxiety and adrenaline rushes) I feel really fatigued in the mornings and early afternoons but feel better in the evenings. Also the diet that works best for me is a diet that’s lower in carbs and sugar... I can have brown rice with chicken and veggies. I can’t really tolerate much carbs. And I’m not taking any supplements at the moment.
Does your fatigue happen every day
Yes it does happen everyday. Unless I’m having what they call”wired” feeling. With lots of adrenaline rushes. But when I’m “normal” I have fatigue every day.
Does your cfs get worse in the winter and is somewhat better in the summer? Seems like my fatigue got worse in January and I'm not sure what I am doing wrong. I went from housebound to bedbound. I've had this for a year and a half. Is cfs just bad the first 3-4 years? Then it starts to get better?
Maybe have your vitamin D levels checked or B12? Honestly I only notice I get a bit worse in the winter bc it makes me a bit depressed. But idk if CFS is supposed to get better but I have read most people do feel a bit better after a few years. Mine was really horrible until I thought to change my diet. Then my fatigue got better but I still get fatigue.
Yes! My evenings feel very near normal. Mornings...not so good.
