Hi 2nd knee replacement 6/7 weeks in been discharged from physio, all good rash sort. So PROUD of myself been swimming, lucky enough to have a caravan , site has a pool and again lucky enough to have a hoist to get me in and out of the water. But been swimming 4 times now aches but getting there, still sleep broken nights but only get up too the loo. All going well. 1st took nearly a year because the other one was so painful. Onwards and upwards
Chris, that is so encouraging! You've done SO well. Yes, it is difficult to get as much as you can from the first knee being done when the second is giving you grief! Brilliant that you're sleeping well too. I did, right from the start, but I never felt sleepy during the day, and I think that possibly helped me sleep at night. Or maybe it was because I didn't have pain, I slept at night so didn't need to during the day. Chicken and egg????? But well done you!!!!:-)))))
