Don't know if this is normal or not freaking out

Hi, so for as long as I can remember I have been seeing coloured streaks around my phone torch which is a very bright light, this is the only light it occurs around, and it only appears in the dark. I do have astigmatism in both eyes, but I just want to know if this is normal. I've just gotten over a fear of brain tumour I've had for two years as my symptoms went as my anxiety went but I'm scared this could be it. Is it normal?? I don't know if I'm worrying over noThing. I'm only 16 so the length of time I've seen it and my age I think rules out cataracts and glaucoma. I'd like to add this does not cause any disturbance and i probably would not have noticed unless I had had that fear.

Also, I'd thought I should add that when I do see this in the day which is onlt in the dark corner of my room, my glasses take it away so yeah

Yes, some of us see rainbows. I do. It's the color spectrum. It's an eye issue. Could be caused by sinus problems as mine is. See your optometrist and or doctor. I would not worry too much about it. Worry makes the anxiety worse. A simple trip to the doctor will tell you for sure and at the very least put your mind at ease once you realize it's nothing serious.

 With a brain tumor you would have other symptoms that would be more severe . 

 do your eyes frequently come in contact with the bright light? I'm wondering if  you're looking at it too much. When is the last time you had an eye exam? Whether you have symptoms or not it's good to have your eyes checked at least once a year.  If there's a way you can have them checked out for your peace of mind I would suggest that and then you'll have an answer as to why you have the colored streaks .

Hi everyone, thank you for your advice. I asked my mum and dad and they said that they see it if they look hard enough. It's probably because I look for it that I see it, and it is only phone torches that I see it with. Other torches are fine so I feel better now. I also emailed an optometrist who said that it's normal and part of entopic phenoma, so I think that is probably the case.
