Hello karen. I tend to agree with jayneejay it could well be your current HRT and it would be worth your while asking for something else. Have you had a recent blood test? There could be other causes for the way you feel. Low thyroid levels is a common condition with middle aged women. It would account for your weight gain as well.
Hello, Karen. Sorry you are feeling like that. I know nothing about HRT but I know many women complain about arrithmia when they start peri. Check your heart for it is the right to do but if I were you, I would discuss with my doctor to change my HRT once it is suppose to give you relieve of the symptoms and it looks like is not helping much!
Good luck
hello
sorry to hear you are suffering.
I take evening primrose oil and use a cream and it seems to help.
different things help different people. im sure there will be somthing out there that will suit you.im afraid its trial and error
take care
I started taking herbs Shatavari & Maca for the hot flashes and they help alot. Trying to avoid the HRT. I got the aches & pains and have suffered the anxiety, chest pain & fogs. They stopped, but the joint pain is crippling. I choose herbs, MUCH & OFTEN PRAYER, and will have to start stretching (yoga) for the mental discipline to deal with this change of life. We got all the time in the world to think about dying, LET'S FIND OUT HOW TO LIVE & ENJOY THE TIME WE GOT LEFT! Bless you all & Happy Thanksgiving!
Hi Karen,
It is very unfortunate to have these complaints after starting with Prempak. However, it is difficult to predict exact side effects for an individual. Right now, you must have to check for any cardiac problem. It is always better to undergo routine investigations after the age of 40. So I would suggest you to have few more blood investigations along with heart scan. These complaints are likely to occur at the age of menopause, so you should prepare your mind and face them by having some alternative treatment such as herbal medicines or Homoeopathy. You may take food rich in oestrogen contents such as Soya bean. Do regular exercise along with Yoga and Meditation. It will help you to keep physical as well as mental fitness.
