Don't want to be here anymore .

After crying all evening and having no one to talk to I thought I'd try one of these forums where others are going through the same thing . So I've had depression for 6 years . I have a little boy who is the only reason I've never gone through with any attempts of my life . He's my absolute world my e everything and keeps me strong . But at the moment I'm finding it so hard dealing with everything I've just isolated myself of for months I have no friends and no family really I grew up in care so both families and my parents never bothered and still don't . I just feel stuck at the moment lost in myself all the pain over the last few years and my past just hurt so bad I have nobody and just feel like I'm a failure like my son would be better of just want the hurt to go away and for someone to understand

are you just lonely or are you in need of someone to help out?

Both

Get maybe some long term hobbies. Where you meet people . Sort of like quilting groups. Now they have groups who color in coloring books. You probably could benefit from a doctor's prescription. Just being around people might help you see how they cope. Maybe join a church group or mommy group. "

I'm already on tablets from doctor and been trying to find a group for young parents as I'm only 22 but thanks for the suggestions

Hi chantel..   it takes a lot of gutts & stamina to raiase a child, you clearly love him as you have said,  he is your world, your everything,,,  THAT alone sings out loud that you are a good, loving & caring mum...   How old is your little boy?

maybe some counselling might help you get out there and find someone special.

Hi thankyou for your comment means alot do it on my own and finding it so hard lately he is 3 literally my best friend x

I'm doing counselling started two weeks ago it does help but didn't have my counselling session this week . It's a journey sure I will get there

you will, all the best.

Sounds like you're a great mom! Your son is lucky to have you. I think we all have those moments where we feel not good enough. And although sometimes our family and friends can't find the right words to make you smile. But hopefully you can find a few smiles from the good folks I've seen in here. Sweet of them to take their time to reply. Hope you and the little one see bright days ahead. XO

3 awwww so sweet..   he is very fortunate to have a mummy who loves him so much..     Sure,  its hard raising a child on your own..   Im sure your mind is busy while you little boy is up & running around until he goes to bed...  thats when our minds become an enemy by jumping from one thing to another & before we know it,  our limiter has peaked & hitting over-drive...    Im hoping that there may be some playgroups in your area..    meeting other parents,  learning new skills & becoming involved with the memories that you will keep as treasure...  You are a lovely lady chantel,  BIG heart & ALL love for your little man...  I honestly admire you sweetheart & would place you under the category of 'THE BEST MUM IN THE WORLD'...   Not so long ago,  I was working with parents who needed encouragement to take care of their children, sad when welfare had to be called in & place these littleones into foster care homes...     lots of love to you gorgeous girl..    Keep posting so that you can continue having the support YOU need xxxx
