Don't want to go back to the doctors...

I admitted I had a problem about 12 months ago. Went to the doctors but I feel he was useless. Pretty much just fobbed me off with medication and forms for councilling. After a few months, maybe 3 of sertraline I felt no different. I went to t he councilling but I got the impression they would rather do phone sessions, I tried to avoid it and I just gave up in the end... Yesterday I admidded to work that I have a problem with my mood. They gave me a number to ring for employee mental health support, which I fully intend to ring later. I really do want to get better, I just don't want to return to see my GP, I have no Issue taking medicine but I feel that he doesn't understand how bad I feel.

YOU NEED TO GET DIFFERENT MEDS AS THE ONES YOU ARE USING ARE NOT WORKING,YOU WILL GET BETTER,FACE YOUR DEMONDS THATS 1 WAY OF HELPING YOURSELF GET BETTER

Hey, there will always be another day. Another test of endurance. Its truly mentally draining with isn't it? If your tablets are not helping, you need to change them! Change your doctor! When it comes to mental health, I think it is important to have some sort of connection. The next doctor might be great. It's fantastic that your workplace have that service in place. If you do decide to contact them, please contact it alerts your work what is going on. And will show them there's a problem but that you are trying to fix it. If you ever need time off work, at least they know the score. Donna xxx
