Dose increased

My dose has been increased from 10mg to 20mg, does anyone know how long it takes for the new dose to kick in?

hi its usually between a week and a fortnight i had the same increase some years ago dont be too suprised if you feel a bit odd at first it does pass and im sure your new dose will help you somewhat regards alan

Hi daisydoo,

Any change of dose takes about ten days to stabilise in the body, but only in terms of the amount of Citalopram in the body.  The effects of a change of dose may be felt more quickly in terms of side-effects but any long-term benefits can take six to eight weeks to kick in.
