Two years ago I had cataract surgery and selected Pan Optics multi focal lens. Three months after surgery on the advice of my local ophthalmologist I had YAG laser capsulotomy surgery. My ophthalmologist assured me that my vision would get better after this procedure which it did not. I suffer from light sensitivity, halos, tired, dry eyes, inability to drive at night, vision is not clear, difficult to work on computer and my equilibrium feels off.
I was referred to Dr. Safran in NJ who I met this past week. He assured me that he can remove the multi focal lens in both eyes and replace them with a mono focal lens that I should be happier with. I would like to know if anyone on this forum has had a lens exchange following YAG performed by Dr. Safran. If so what was your experience and outcome from the surgery?
