Dreams ?

Hi

Can anyone tell me do they suffer with alot of dreaming on these tabs? I've been on them for 6 weeks...the 1st 2 weeks all I wanted to do is sleep but now I just lay in bed at night bright as a button and then when I do sleep I dream loads...about past incidents and then wake in a bath of sweats??? Please, please let me know if anyone else experiances this and if so does it pass??

Cheers

I have been on Prozac now for a month,,

I have vivid dreams, but not all the time now,,, I also have been waking up 2/3 times in a night evn though i take sleeping tablets also,, but i put thT DOWN TO THE FACT that i lost my mum on 23rd October,, so prob don't get the time to fall into a deep enough deep sleep for the vivid dreams. Can't say i get the sweats though... Some-times Prozac can take 6-8weeks to get into the system properly,, but if you are worried i would go back to your doctors.. If she/he is half as understanding as my doctor you will be fine.

You know I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one! I spoke with my pharmacist today to see if anyone else had reported strange and vivid dreams on this drug. I started taking this drug, in small doses, for PMS about three months ago and immediatley I started having these very crazy dreams. I have to convince myself when I wake up that they're not real. It's kind of scary, and though they aren't nightmares neccessarily, they are weird enough for me to consider going off the meds. Every night I go to bed wondering what craziness is gonna happen tonight. The pharmacists had no words of advice for me, so I guess you just have to live with it. sad

Thanks both for your replies...its good to know that others have experianced 'dreams'.... despite the dreams there are alot of positives to these tablets...my continuous cramped and tensed stomach has seemed to ease so that I actually have an appetite now...I actually enjoy seeing people again....and the good news is the sweats seem to be subsiding....
