Drug Combination

Hello

I have been trying different antidepressants and dosis to see which med and and strength is the best. so its been starting a drug a few weeks later evaluating its effectiveness etc.

I am currently on 150 mg of Bupropion and 30 mg of Duloxetine. I take both at the same time in the morning. i started taking the Duloxetine around 3 weeks ago.

For a few days was the best i have felt in years but recently i have had the feelings of nausea body buzz and dizziness has come back,

Was wondering if anyone on here has had any experience with this med combination and what was the outcome ? I would imagine that all this chinese coronavirus hasnt helped my stress / anxiety at all buy this seems excessive.

Any insight or comments would be greatly appreciated.

i am medicated and i have not heard of those drugs. i am on 60mg of lexapro for anxiety and depression, 40 mgs of latuda for my mood and sleep regulation. i also take .5 mg of xanex for the occassional panic attack as needed. it took years to find the right combination of meds that suited me and i have tried a slew of them. finally got it right. i would suggest telling your doctor your bad experiences with the drugs you are on. he or she made need to supplement your daily regiment with another drug, or they may put you on something else entirely. but how you are feeling is not normal and sounds like they didnt prescribe the right meds for your particular body chemistry. its not their fault, they can only guess whats going to work for you based upon what generally works for others. its up to you to keep them updated on how you are feeling so they can make changes as necessary. hope this helps, and remember, you are not alone.

changing doses and meds a lot is a bad idea as your brain will get confused and not know wether it’s coming or going. although the docs and leaflets with the meds say weeks some people take months and months.
higher doses don’t mean quicker recovery or better recovery. the only way to be consistently feeling better is staying on a dose for a lot longer. about 12 weeks on each dose.
the more you change doses and meds the harder it is to settle and you will end up just going round in circles. and not giving anything enough time to work is delaying your recovery.

what meds have you tried?
