what is this drunk/hungover feeling. had anyone told their doctors? is there any help for it. i dont want to go to the doctor and get a bunch of expensive test and all they diagnose is perimenopause....... its always around the end of my period. the weird thing that helps (this is true) A HAMBURGER AND FRIES AND A COKE. i never eat like this but the past 4 month it has helped. maybe i am needing the nutrients? am i just going crazy?
i found nothing to help i have it quiet often i hate it and if i have to go in an elevator it makes it so much worse. drunk without the alcohol its all bull crap what we deal with
I’m just used to the drunk feeling and go with it. When it’s super bad, I stay home and rest.. About a week before my period I crave a hamburger and pop.. My appetite is for junk. I do feel better afterwards.

It was so bad I would throw up here and there, and I didn’t have morning sickness when pregnant. Tried peppermint tea and even pickle juice. (said to be good for a hang over) Nothing has helped. The only thing I can say is that the longer without a period, the better it has gotten.
Normal peri symptom which has recently eased for me but, it’s horrible. I felt drunk and spacey and dizzy or over 8 months. You are not alone. You are not crazy. The only thing that has helped me has been an antidepressant to regulate my monthly cycle which has since calmed my symptoms of anxiety. It’s taken a month on it though to start working. Hang in there. We are all with you and have been there. I’ve heard eating protein with each meal during this time is good. You need that fuel for energy due to the fatigue this causes. Hang in there. xo
Same woith me.

Hi Christine, It can be that your weird feelings & cravings are for a few reasons; if your blood sugar is low as you aren’t eating regularly, every 4-6 hours have a small snack(cheese, nuts, fruit, etc..or eat regular meals B-L- S)hormones can cause cravings, esp. fast food, sugar, salt(us girls call that the good stuff…that’s bad for you) but if you are having your period, esp. at the end or if it is heavy you can be a bit anemic(your iron is low) some people crave meat, which is a simple fix for temporary anemia caused by your period…so see if changing a few things can make you feel a bit better…if you are in perimenopause, you may get additional symptoms & if thats what your Dr. suspects, its just a simple blood test to check your hormone levels & your Dr may have some options for you…if not you should ask your Dr. if all that is normal for you and see what they suggest!!
