looks like thrush to me,dry antifungal cream for 2 weeks 3 times a day and see if that helps.
i have had this in the past and always went away with the right treatment.
good luck!
Thanks a ton for the reply! I will be sure to try that. Do you recommend any specific brand or anything like that?
no problem
yes clotrimazole has always worked for me,its over the counter in a pharmacy so you wont have an issue getting some.
cheers
Jason the red spots are cased by some form of irritation: minimising contact with any form of chemical is the best starting point. So yes, not using soap and stuff like shower gel to clean the penis is essential - when you take a shower make sure you take some time to rinse away any body cleansers that have gotten onto the penis well away. The skin must be completely dried after washing or showering.
And yes, the symptoms will flare after masturbation, the skin is currently irritated anyway, the friction impact on the skin will merely add to the issue. Coconut Oil does have natural skin healing properties, and I realise you are applying this multiple times a day because you want the issue to be resolved, but a thin coat applied after a morning shower, for example, and again later in the day for masturbation is sufficient. Over-application can become a problem and needs to be avoided - the alternative you could try at some time in the future is Raw SHEA butter, which also has great skin healing properties.
When you get a shower draw the foreskin as far forward away from the body as you can, this will help protect the sensitive skin of the head of the penis …
Thanks so much for the reply! Can sweat also make this worse? I sweat quite a lot throughout the day while working. I’ve switched from boxers to boxer briefs recently since they’re a lot softer so I’m hoping that will prevent any more friction. I will be sure to cut back on how much coconut oil I use, I didn’t realize too much could be problematic. I’ll also pick up some shea butter today and switch to it at some point. I appreciate all the help
Yes sweat can be a form of irritant, especially if it is regularly present. There are various undershorts that can help draw sweat away from the body and outdoor clothing shops can help with these. I actually wear light weight running shorts quite a lot of the time because they are comfortable and help to draw sweat away for the body.
