Dry penile shaft

ive had dry penile shaft with red marks fro the past 10 years. the marks come from me picking them when i was younger https://i.imgur.com/kkirybs.jpg

What you need to do is prevent the build-up of sweat in the area - some men shave off their pubic hair to achieve a better level of hygiene in the whole groin area. You could look at the clothing your regularly wear - is this causing you to be too warm and creating sweat for you on a regular basis?
The other essential is that once you take a shower or wash the groin area you must ensure you are completely dry - many males do this in a rushed manner rather than check that all of the moisture has been removed from the skin.
Other than this, consider whether you are taking a shower regularly enough, are you changing underwear daily after a shower - that kind of stuff … ?
So, lightweight cotton underwear is better than heavy or the thicker cotton or synthetic fibre underwear. For the redness try using some liquid Coconut Oil - apply a light coating to your entire penile shaft once you have taken a shower and have completely dried yourself …

ok i see thank u very much for the reply.
is it possible that i can get red of the red marks? over the years it gone much better compared to what it used to be. but is there any way i could get rid of it completely?
thanks again

Hi John, if we describe it this way: without realising what was going on, or doing anything in particular, you have actually created the circumstances for your penis to be the way it is now. In my previous reply I mentioned a number of things to be aware or, things to try and other things to put in place.
So, for a dry penile shaft do not wash your penis with soap or shower gel and stuff like that. When you take a shower once you have cleaned everywhere else on your body you need to spend sometime rinsing away soaps and other body cleansers that have gotten onto your penis and entire groin region. When you get out of the shower you MUST ensure your entire groin region is completely dry - once you have done this apply a very light coating of liquid Coconut Oil to the skin of your penile shaft and the head of your penis.
It is ONLY by putting a regime in place such as what I have described that you will change your situation. As you mention, you say it has got much better compared to what it used to be - you need to continue the ‘good stuff’ so that eventually the redness will fade altogether.
This will take a number of months of consistently doing the good stuff - and as I also mentioned, you also need top look at the broadest aspects of what you have going on. Such as, is the clothing you regularly wear actually causing a build up of sweat in your groin region, and it is things like this that are ‘acting together’ to create the wrong kinds of circumstances …
